How do I make an appointment?

What services do you offer and what are your prices?

Rebecca is trained in a wide variety of massage modalities. Each session is a custom blend that brings together the best formula for meeting your needs. Visit the Bodywork page for complete details.

How do I prepare for my bodywork/massage session?

This is a great question! There are many things you can do prior to the session to make the most of your time on the massage table. Read Rebecca’s article 10 Tips to Maximize your Massage to best prepare, it’s a quick read and well worth it.

What I need to know about parking & the office location?

Parking is usually easy. You will find a lot in the back and on the side of the building. The office is located in the Garnet Professional Building, 2180 Garnet Ave, San Diego, CA 92109. Check out the Contact page for a map and driving instructions.

Is it important to give you feedback during the session?

Yes and yes! Rebecca will be counting on you to provide feedback to ensure that you are comfortable and that your needs are being met. Please speak up if you would like an adjustment of pressure or would like more attention in a certain area. Room temperature, music, and requests for limited talking during your session are all important types of feedback, ensuring you receive the best care possible.

What can I expect when I come to receive my massage?

Rebecca will begin by making sure you are as comfortable on the table as possible.  At the start of the bodywork she will check in to determine the amount of pressure you prefer. She will also invite you to speak up at anytime during the session if an adjustment in pressure is needed. During the massage she will follow your lead.  If you have questions about what you are experiencing in your body or have thoughts or feelings that come up for you, feel free to share them with her.  Rebecca provides a supportive and safe place to share your experience without judgement.  If you wish to be quiet and focus on breathing or relaxing , let her know, she will speak to you only when necessary so that you may fully experience the bodywork without too much intrusion.

I am sick or injured, should I alert you before we begin?

If you are under the care of a doctor for any injury or illness make sure you check with that health care professional to confirm that massage is indicated and appropriate for you to receive. Additionally, please report injuries, and illness when you make your appointment. Thank you.
